Cezasını çeken, hatasından ders alan eski bir mahkumun, yaşamına kaldığı yerden devam etme hakkı olduğu her ne kadar kağıt üzerinde veya zihinlerde yer etmiş olsa da, gerçekte öyle olmadığı görülmektedir. Zira eski bir hükümlü, sabıkalı olarak nitelendirildiğinden hiçbir yerde iş olanağı bulamaz, bu tür insanlar toplum tarafından ötekileştirilir ve sosyal hayata adapte olmakta güçlük çeker. Bunun sonucunda ötekileştirilen eski suçlu, yaşamını sürdürebilmek ve temel ihtiyaçlarını karşılayabilmek için tekrar suç işlemekten başka çare bulamaz.. Dolayısıyla, hapishaneden tahliye edilen her eski hükümlünün rehabilite edilip topluma kazandırılması önem arz etmektedir. Yönetmen, çektiği belgesel ile bu konulara ışık tutmak, toplumsal farkındalık oluşturmak gayesindedir. 
 
Although it is on paper or in the minds that an ex-convict who has been sentenced and learned from his mistake has the right to continue his life from where he left off, it seems that this is not the case in reality. Because an ex-convict is described as a criminal, he cannot find a job anywhere. such people are marginalized by society and have difficulty adapting to social life. As a result, the ex-convict who is marginalized cannot find a way out other than committing another crime in order to survive and meet his basic needs. Therefore, it is important that every ex-convict who is released from prison is rehabilitated and reintegrated into society. With the documentary he shot, the director aims to shed light on these issues and create social awareness.

Amerikan tarihindeki en büyük ırkçı katliamının 1921 yılında Tulsa'da (Oklahoma) Greenwood'un siyahi topluluğuna karşı gerçekleştiğine dair vizyoner bir şiir ve meditasyon. Countee Cullen şiirinden ve gerçeküstü sanatçılar Magritte ve Max Ernst'ten esinlenerek 14 bölüm boyunca Haç İstasyonları olarak anlatıldı. Görsel bir şiir, hafıza (gerçek-arşiv görüntüleri) ve hayal gücü (gerçeküstü dünyalar) arasındaki sınırların insan acısı ve inancı üzerine düşünmemizi sağlamak için harmanlandığı manevi bir yolculuk. 
 
A visionary poem and meditation on the worst massacre of racial violence in American History happened in Tulsa (Oklahoma) in 1921, against the black community of Greenwood. Narrated through 14 chapters as the Stations of the Cross (Via Crucis), inspired by the Countee Cullen poem and surreal artists Magritte and Max Ernst. A visual poem, a spiritual journey where the boundaries between Memory (real-archival footage) and Imagination (surreal worlds) blend to make us reflect on human suffering and faith.

20 yıldan fazla bir süre önce Giovanni annesine bir söz verdi: mafyadan ve uyuşturucudan kurtulacaktı. Bugün, koruma olarak çalıştığı bir sirkin önünde yaşıyor. Her gece daha iyi olmak için son bir arzuyla geçmişi üzerine düşünür: annesinin mezarına geri dönmek ve ona başardığını söylemek. 
More than 20 years ago, Giovanni made a promise to his mother: he would get out of mafia and drugs. Today he lives in front of a circus, where he works as a guardian. Every night, he reflects on his past in order to move forward with a last desire: coming back to his mum's grave and telling her that he managed.
